She’s not Real

“That woman is not real,” I hear you say, as you navigate through the chronicles of her life.

“Come on, think about it. She can’t be real. It’s just a story. A fable. A dream.” You drag your fingers across the print and suddenly you start feeling overwhelmed. Oh, no. Not today! You really don’t need her to make you feel less than what you think you are.

“Look at her. How many caps could she possibly have worn? Look at her. Look closely. Does she even breathe? She seems to be eveeeerrrrrywhere.”

So you roll your eyes, make a one hundred and eighty degrees turn, and just keep doing whatever it was you were doing before you read Proverbs 31.

I’m excited today because of new beginnings.

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.

(Lamentations 3:22-23)

This is the first post of this Blog, and this is the beginning of a new thing. If you’ve ever felt like you can’t do all that the Proverbs 31 woman is all about, I have just one phrase for you…”It’s by God’s grace.”

So yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and YES. You, my dear…you can do it.

I invite you to walk with me awhile, as we discover together all the lovely nuggets of wisdom God will reveal to us on this Blog.
